If you are seeing “Please log in to view this channel” only for certain channels
We’ve been making changes to improve the TV player but for an unknown reason some users are seeing the “login” message on certain channels.
We cannot reproduce this issue – everything works fine on our test accounts of different membership levels. Therefore the issue must be client side, likely web browsers cookies or cache is loading old data saved on your computer.Possible resolutions:
Try a different web browser (Chrome, Firefox etc).Possible resolutions:
Try a different web browser (Chrome, Firefox etc).
Try loading the page in a different manner – visit another page and click to view the original page again, or try refreshing the page (Use the blue “Reload” button above the TV player or press F5 on your keyboard if you are using a computer).
Clear your cache – your web browser saves web pages in its cache and might be loading out of date information. This issue will likely resolve itself when your web browser decides to load a fresh version of the page instead of using the cached (saved) version or your web browser cookies expire and get reloaded (automatically happens after a set amount of hours/days).
Sorry for the inconvenience but now the TV player should automatically fail-over to a different video server in the unlikely case that your local/default video server has a problem – so we have better redundancy / reliability and uptime.
