BrendanHi MarconiMedia. Great to hear from you. I could nominate you, but unless you donate, Paul won’t be interested. The easiest way to get nominated is to email Paul, best to donate first if you haven’t already. Then he will upgrade you to Level 1. From there you will be able to watch all the channels, at least for the time being. Soon Level 1 will be for trial and dormant members and you will have to upgrade to another level. What I mean by dormant is if say you pay to upgrade to Level 2 for a month, once that month is over you automatically revert to Level 1 until you upgrade again.
Great to hear from you zl2bmh. Ahh, the Ranfurly Shield! That brings back memories of watching Canterbury defend the shield at Lancaster Park in the early to mid 1980’s. It was such a big thing back then. Such a shame that it just does not have the same prestige anymore. A victim of the professional rugby era. My first job after leaving school was at Burwood Hospital. I was a gardener there for 10 months back in 1983-84. I was visiting there earlier this year for the first time in about 20 years. I couldn’t believe how much it has changed. It has expanded so much and most of the old buildings have been demolished.
