How true “They don’t make them like they used to”.
It has an actual accelerator cable which if it snaps a length of string will get you home, not like these new fangled Drive by wire which rely on sensors,a potentiometer and an ECU to determine where your foot is on the pedal, none of which are lurking in the boot..
And a clutch cable which you can adjust with a simple nut, not like the Self adjusting cables that tend to jam up and fail or hydraulic ones that leak fluid everywhere..
Unfortunately I had an ECU controlled car, not for long. Fed up with a STOP, DO NOT PASS GO lighting up, I removed the bulb! lol…
If you take one to a garage you are charged 30€ just to have a computer plugged in you car. Then the results..Well it could be one of several sensors gone haywire, nothing more specific and a huge bill for telling you that….

Aesop circa 600 BC.mumkin has an ancient pre computerised car which has a radio cassette. Got hold of a blank cassette, not an easy task these days, recorded Bat out of Hell on it from my pc. Popped it in the car cassette player and guess what.. it didn’t work. all the lights lit up, said playing but nothing.. though the radio works.. Probably a waste of time but I may dismantle it and try suss out the problem.. will give me something to do at least…

Aesop circa 600 BC.Testing out the covid passport, went to a restaurant known to ask for it. Showed them the QR code, they nodded and said ok. They did not scan to verify it so another waste of space!
I could have carved a QR code on a potato, inked it and stamped it on a paper!

It was my choice so to be vaccinated or not should be Everyone’s choice.
To impose fines on anti vaxers is way out of line…
I wonder if anti vaxers took their case to The Hague to argue against basic human rights what would the result be???

This epidemic is being prolonged by the pharmacetical companies to make extra billions selling their products to a government instigated panic stricken public…

Don’t know if we’re coming or going here what with the “Authorities” changing the covid rules as often as they change their underwear..
The central government is dodging the issue by telling the autonomous governers of each of the 17 communities to choose how to handle the situation under their respective control and guess what..they each have different ideas on how to “control” Omicron, none of which appear to be effective in the slightest!
As Poshrat mentioned, covid won’t discriminate between those going out in the day time or the night time. No more than 10 people allowed to congregate because the eleventh surely is contageous..
Social distancing! A mega joke.. People in the airport queing up 1 and a half meters apart only to be crammed on the plane like sardines in a tin!
The supermarkets here insist you push the trolley backwards through the checkout to unload it !!!! Got me there???
Families sat round the dinner table in their home all wearing masks only to be lowered to allow food or drink to pass their lips!!
