Well..meatloaf is off my list of prepared meals that’s for sure….LOL!
At least there are less harmful alternatives..like haddock and salmon, roast beef and pork
Well, my daughter called to let me know my son John is in a bad way..the illness he has is now starting to destroy his brain, and he is losing control of many bodily functions
This is the lad that never smoked,never did drugs,didn’t drink or chase women, rode a bicycle until he was 30 because he could see no use for a car,,,went to the gym on a daily basis and did dog walking earning a fair income!
Then out of the blue..he loses his sight on a regular basis, loses the ability to walk, and it takes them a year to find out what is ..and it is rare in a white person, but can be found in black races, but only 1 in a a large number!
Weird…considering the life his father has lived and I am still functioning reasonably well. another case of Life is not fair!
Feeling a bit the same this end max..don’t know what was in the meatloaf in the meals on wheel , but I had acid reflux badly during the night, and it to0k a large dose of Bicarb to shut it down..only had 4 hours sleep as a result!

Get up to a heavy rain warning, and they are right..it is coming down in buckets!
Doc had some fun finding the spot he needed, but all went well…and the annoyances have eased gradually..
Sounds like you need the same max..a big hypo and some tranquilizer drug in it and jab that lot around you!
Morning all and poshie is getting ready for his knee injection today, see if I can make life more comfortable and do some real gardening now the weather is spring like!

Our Mother’s day is on the 12th, and my Mother always got annoyed that I missed the one in UK..she could never understand we don’t have any flowers that early..our Daffodils have only been out a week, and I haven’t seen tulips yet
The cherry tree is showing flowers, as are the gooseberry and blackcurrant bushes… which may just be too early unless the insects show up soon.
NOW I know why the World championship snooker is having the final match on a Monday, and the reason why it is so packed..it’s a BANK holiday!

Hi yorkshirelady! yes prices are on the rise on everything, and still being blamed on the covid shut down.. the sheep are being fleeced at every opportunity..LOL!

You do okay max, I have trouble with French and yet I live in Quebec, and they have just passed a new law demanding French only be used in businesses..I could be in real trouble!
In a world of Smart phones, Smart TV’s and machines like Captcha asking us to prove we are a human…. is it any wonder some are falling by the wayside? (me included!)
Acronyms and numerical shorthand in text messages have me digging through Google to find what is being talked about these days… and if I can do it, so can others… so repeatedly asking the same questions isn’t gaining brownie points on these forums, so a little exasperation showing up now and then is to be expected.
READING is not that difficult surely? Okay if English is your second language, we can make allowances.. it isn’t the easiest language to get along with.

Once again at poshie’s end sun has gone and it rains again…still, with World championship snooker final underway, I wasn’t going out anyway.
It promises to be a real battle considering the final two were not supposed to get this far!
